Apparently since 2002 335 officers names have been submitted for decertification for crimes ranging from dishonesty to rape. We know there are atleast 23 more that they didn’t give us the records for

All officers must be certified by the Criminal Justice Training Commission, and when they get in trouble each police agency can submit their names for decertification.

The problem is that the police immediately quit and just jump over to a different agency. I thought it was an issue with the departments but evidently it’s an issue with the CJTC.

As of 2002 the CJTC has declined to decertify over 81 officers, most because they quit before they could get decertified. 35+ resigned before they could be investigated (which is what Officer Batiot and Deputy Fontenot did and how they ended up in our neighborhood.) two of them even retired so they wouldn’t be decertified and they would still receive their retirement and benefits.

Now please keep in mind that I know for a fact that some of the officers on this list that were set up for union activities, political activities, and for reporting superior officers.

In one case a Brady Cop got 2 officers fired by lying about them. He had been fired from the King County Sheriff’s Office and landed in another office. One of them ended up on the Brady List Officer Weinrich, but was not submitted for decertification. Officer Carter however was.

Another officer who’s name I have removed for his own safety reported a superior for domestic violence (multiple occasions), lying in court, theft, collusion, and several other things was harassed so badly that he went to another agency without even realizing his name had been submitted for decertification. He provided proof about the superior and all that happened was he was run off and the superior was promoted.

All this time I thought that it was the fault of the different police departments, when it turns out that the people who are supposed to be policing the police are not doing their job.
