Families of Marysville-Pilchuck victims reach settlement
The five families affected by the 2014 Marysville-Pilchuck High School shooting have reached an $18 million settlement with the school district.
The lawsuit against the Snohomish County School District came after it was determined that a substitute teacher failed to notify school officials of critical information before the shooting in the school’s cafeteria. read more…
Money won’t replace those children and will never put back the pieces of anyone’s broken hearts but hopefully the district will come up with better policies to protect children in the future.
