November 2017 Elections – Snohomish County Council District 1

Here is who we have to choose from in this November’s Election:

The candidates featured in this series are ones I have run a full background check on, and that I have investigated to the fullest of my ability. The one’s that I have endorsed are in bold letters. If neither candidate is in bold letters that means I can not find any good reason to endorse either of them.

I hope that you will also take the time to investigate and communicate with these people on your own as well. Don’t just take my word (or my opinion) for it.

You will also notice that I have not only crossed “party lines”, I have zig-zagged across them. I am not concerned about parties I am only interested in who has the citizens best interests at heart

You may also notice that some of the newer candidates have a “past” or may have had financial difficulties. As odd as this sounds those are the people we need in office. The people like 98% of the rest of us.

People who have never had to chose whether to buy medication or pay a power bill are so far out of touch with our reality that they have no business making any decisions for any of us.

Some have a criminal history. I have reviewed all of them, and all have been dismissed. The most important thing is that they were vindicated and didn’t use their political power to “get out of it” they fought for the truth and took their lumps so to speak.

SNOHOMISH COUNTY COUNCIL- DISTRICT 1

Ray Miller (Prefers Democratic Party) 8,294 34.96%
Now if there is something this man has not done to contribute to our county, I can’t find it. He is an active community member and has the knowledge and experience to deal with many of the other local politicians that he has already dealt with in his many roles of service to the citizens of Snohomish County. His experience with Domestic Violence, and treating others for drugs makes him keenly aware of what the needs of this county’s current drug epidemic are. That we desperately need right now, before we lose anymore young lives. He also understands the needs of community members that sometimes have no voice and is currently implimenting those programs. Even though Mr Miller is not a “politician” in the proverbial sense, he has experience dealing with those in office. Mr Miller also represents the diversity we need in our current government.

Because: Nepotism. No one to my knowledge had ever heard of this kid yet he was plopped right down into a council seat. Why? Because his dad is the Mayor of Marysville? Hardly a shining endorsement of ability. He is also following in typical SnoCo politics playing dirty politics. Last we heard he was also under investigation by the Pubic Disclosure Commission over some pretty serious charges, charges that if are true, mean he is headed down the same path as every other corrupt politician we are trying to get rid of. His affiliations and endorsements are enough to cause issues, not surprisingly his investigation is surrounding the same people surrounding Judge Cynthia Larsen’s Illegal campaign activities. Just imagine what his campaign willl try to do to anyone who crosses him or his agenda
