I am investigating another incident involving the Darrington School District and in trying to look up information for the school board members I stumbled across this

I am still waiting for the police reports and court documents, but I have been assured it wasn’t something as simple as peeing in public.
My concern is that this person never disclosed this conviction to the Washington agencies in charge of Education or to the Office of the Superintendent.
He also works with the North County Family Services and he has access to children there as well.
He also has DUI’s and driving tickets from after he was ordered not to drive in Texas.
In contacting the various state agencies his situation is a bit different as to what they can do about him since he is in an elected position.
This is why background checks need to be run on all candidates, even if no agencies do it, then we as citizens need to do it. Especially in a setting where those elected will have access to children.
If Mr Pickard responds I will post it as well as the documentation I receive from Texas.
The Darrington school district has been scandal plagued for quite some time after Myra Lewis the district finance manager dropped dead at the former Superintendent Larry Johnsons’ home several years ago.
They are also having trouble coming up with the money to pay the current Superintendent.
They rely on Title 1 funding to meet most of their needs but they are losing their Title 1 students at a break neck speed
This is related to the other story I am working on, but hopefully won’t have to publish if they come to a peaceful resolve and drop their false criminal charges against a parent who has stood up to them.
